Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
An emergency medical technician must hold a high school diploma or the equivalent, current Pennsylvania EMT certification, eligibility for medical command status within the region, current CPR and EVOC certifications. Emergency Medical Technicians are required to complete a training course approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health that follows in accordance with current national standard curriculum set forth in the rules and regulations promulgated by the department.
