Your entire family/household (anyone
living in your residence) is covered by your subscription.
Advance Life Support services with
West Shore ALS, Inc.
YBEMS reserves the right to third
party bill your insurance company for the costs of your ambulance
transportation, by being a subscribing member, you will incur no
additional costs.
YBEMS is a 501 (3) organization, your
member donation is tax-deductible.

Dear Friend,
First and foremost, it is the pleasure of the
Yellow Breeches EMS, Inc., to fulfill your Emergency Services needs. The
company has made it through the ups and downs that a merged entity goes
through, successfully the last 12 years. We can proudly say that it was worth
the hard work and effort of those that played a key role in our
transition.
Most citizens of the
community question why they should pay to join the Membership Subscription
sent to them every year. Quite simply, if you have the misfortune to use the
services provided by Yellow Breeches EMS, Inc., or West Shore ALS providers;
it alleviates all costs concerns to you that your insurance carrier may not
cover. You should think of it the same as an insurance policy that you hope
never to use or simply as a donation to the local emergency services. Please
note Yellow Breeches EMS, Inc., "Only" provides emergency care to best meet
the needs of our coverage area.
As with anything
nowadays, costs are ever increasing for our equipment and supplies to provide
the best quality care to you, "The Citizen". Even through we receive
contributions from the municipalities that we provide service to and apply for
numerous Grants, it does not cover the entire needs to fund the operation of
the department. Currently we own all of the ambulances, but like anything; we
must plan ahead for replacement needs. We also still carry debt on the
building and grounds owned by Yellow Breeches, EMS, Inc., that we operate the
business from.
In closing, Yellow
Breeches EMS, Inc., responds to approximately 1200 plus calls a year and the
membership letters returned by you account for much of our financial needs and
stability. It is my honor to thank you in advance for financially helping our
company provide the best care possible to the people in need.
